Davison High School Dine at Home Experience
On Friday 20 January, in true Innovate Academy style, Wendy Moore and Ian Tunbridge from Rainham delivered a fabulous dine at home experience to Nimie Bunyard, the lucky winner of the Grand Prize in Davison CE High School for Girls winter fundraiser.
The extra-ordinary preparation and care taken by the Academy chefs, culminating in the delicious dinner menu, ensured the stellar success of this special event.
Nimie’s personal response to the evening was a testament to the occasion:
My family and I were the very lucky recipients of the ‘Dine at Home’ experience last Friday.
Wendy and Ian are amazing chefs and created an evening we will never forget as a family. The food was not only delicious but looked and tasted out of this world. The canapés were the best we had ever eaten. The wines and port complemented each course so well, the time and thought which had gone into planning the menu was much appreciated by us all.
I know how hard Wendy and Ian worked during the day preparing for the evening as I saw them in the Davison kitchen during the day. They were an absolute delight and my kitchen was the tidiest I have ever seen it! We didn’t have to do anything, they treated us to a wonderful experience and memories we will share as a family for a long time.
I would also like to thank Katie, for liaising with me and organising the finer details of the night, i.e allergies and checking to see of any of us were vegetarian (which my daughter is, she loved her Chestnut, Spinach & Ricotta en-Croute).
Thank you for donating such a incredible prize to the Davison High Winter Fare, we raised £3766.00 in total which will go towards purchasing plasma screen for the school.
Wendy and Ian are a super team, kind, thoughtful and extremely talented, I shall miss them this Friday when I get home from work and they’re not in my kitchen!
