INNOVATE SERVICES ANNOUNCED AS NATIONAL BUSINESS AWARDS FINALIST

Innovate Services, the innovative school catering company, has been shortlisted for the Employer of the Year award for the 2014 National Business Awards. Based in West Byfleet, Surrey, Innovate Services is the catering partner for secondary schools and colleges across the UK, and today operates in over 90 sites to deliver a fresh approach to school meals provision.

 

Innovate will compete for the prestigious award with the winner being revealed at the National Business Awards gala dinner held on 11 November at Park Lane’s Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

 

Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, UKCES, judge for the category said: “The innovation and commitment that Innovate Services has shown to changing the way school dinners are provided is impressive. It has also successfully changed the culture of staff TUPE’d in from previous contracts to ensure that it stays true to its purpose of innovating and raising standards for school food.”

 

Britain’s leading businesses, business leaders and social enterprises have been revealed as finalists for the 2014 National Business Awards. The finalists have been nominated for a number of categories representing a variety of areas from international growth to a decade of excellence. Companies of all sizes are in the running to win, ranging from those with a turnover of just £23K to those with a turnover of £20 billion and collectively employ over 850 000 people.

Finalists were chosen from the hundreds of businesses that entered or were nominated across 17 award categories. They will now prepare for live presentations to expert juries who will decide the overall winners that will be revealed at the awards ceremony on 11 November.
